Welcome to a lifetime of bondage
I have a private student who comes to my house roughly every week for English lessons.
Yesterday I noticed that he had seemingly started to shave his fuzzy adolescent mustache.
"Congratulations," I thought, "from now on you will be forever prisoner to the bonds of the razor!"

Hah. Right. Every week is more like it.

Er, misread the post you made, so the line doesn't work as poetically. but my point is made.

ok, maybe I'm dense, but what's the point Roy was trying to make? I did like the pun(?) about a razor causing bondage (and don't take that out of context)

I think his point was that my student doesn't come very often...but I'm not really sure.

At least you only have to shave your face and neck... and facial hair is fashionable.
Welcome to the world of the woman descendent of middle and eastern europeans... legs, armpits, bikini, etc. And if that's not bad enough, think about how bad razor burn feels in..um..certain areas.

I think I'd take shaving my legs once every week or two over shaving (and cutting) my face every day. Not, mind you, that I do...

Bondage as in slavery. It was just a figure of speech. Roy was just hitting the crackpipe too much I guess.
