...my Japanese still sucks.
I tried to make a reservation for a rental car today, and it was a disaster. I think I made the reservation, but I understood the guy so shakily that I actually am not sure.
Sigh.

Heh--sounds like the way I've felt about lots of communication I've been involved with lately; I hear things, I say things, and a few minutes later, I'm not quite sure what happened. Except that I'm conversing in what I believe is "normally understood" english for all those involved. Maybe I'm just getting senile. :-)
