Failed Experiment

Today in an attempt to get away from my day-long apartment cleaning frenzy, I wanted to do something with the rock hard marshmallows I bought last year for a camping trip.

Note to the curious: Marshmallows, despite the fact that they are sugar, do not "melt down" to form anything remotely like caramel.

Y didn't you try smores?

Throw them in your next campfire. Immolated marshmallows are entertaining for about five minutes.

Problem being, graham crackers are very hard to find in Japan. But that woulda been a good idea.

Sadly, these are also hard to find in Japan. Well. Hard to have, I mean. I actually did toy with the idea of setting them on fire in my house but the idea was quickly discarded as ridiculously stupid.

Wow what fun. They might not melt well but they are fun in the microwave as they expand and expand and expand and leave a rock hard goopy mess in the mirowave when it cools off! Peeps do this too - well du'h they are marshmellow
